Anze Kopitar is a Slovenian professional ice hockey center and captain for the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the first round, 11th overall, of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Kings. Kopitar is considered one of the best two-way forwards in the NHL, winning the Selke Trophy as the league's best defensive forward in 2016. He is also a two-time Stanley Cup Champion with the Kings, helping them win titles in 2012 and 2014.
